Natalie Parker is a highly experienced and nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist with deep roots in the Youngsville, NC community. Having grown up in Youngsville, she's passionate about giving back to the place she's always called home through her practice, Speech Therapy Solutions, PLLC. Natalie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and continued her education at Appalachian State University, where she completed her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. Her comprehensive graduate school practicum experiences spanned a wide range of settings, including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, an early intervention private practice, an elementary school, and a skilled nursing facility. Throughout her career, Natalie has gained extensive experience working with diverse populations and disorders in various environments, including schools, daycares, and homes. She previously served the Franklin County public schools, focusing on children with special needs, and possesses significant expertise in early intervention. Natalie's professional experience encompasses working with children facing a variety of challenges, such as Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Language-Based Literacy Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Medically Fragile Children, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. She has received specialized training in several key areas, including Motor Speech Disorders, feeding assessment and intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorders, The Floortime Method, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, high-tech communication devices, and the Picture Exchange Communication System. Additionally, Natalie has received training in treating Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. She is also trained in the LiPS program for children with speech and reading disorders. Dedicated to providing exceptional speech therapy services, Natalie enjoys collaborating with individuals of all ages and their families. She holds a license from the North Carolina board and possesses her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
