Speech Therapy Solutions is a private practice dedicated to delivering high-quality speech pathology and language services to children in Wake Forest, Raleigh, Garner, and the surrounding areas. Our nationally certified and state-licensed speech-language pathologists offer language and children’s speech pathology services to children from birth through school age. We primarily serve children in our clinics, unless your child is enrolled in the CDSA. If your child is between the ages of 12 and 36 months, you can expect a more informal assessment. Your visit will entail parent interview, observation of your child in play and interactions, as well as the use of some formal and/or informal testing measures to gain a clear picture of your child’s current level of functioning compared to age-matched peers.
If your child is 4 years of age or older, you can expect a more formal evaluation depending on their ability to participate in standardized testing. Your visit will entail a parent interview, observation of your child, as well as the use of informal tools, in addition to more standardized testing measures, to gain a clear picture of your child’s current level of functioning compared to age-matched peers.
Comprehensive assessments typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are performed during 1 visit. All assessments are highly individualized and dependent on the child’s unique needs. The duration of therapy sessions is dependent on each individual child and typically lasts 30 minutes.
Typically, children qualify for 1-2 therapy sessions per week. After scoring the evaluation, the SLP will determine this.
Speech Therapy Solutions is proud to be an in-network provider for a variety of insurance companies, including Aetna, Medicaid, Carolina Complete, UHC Community Plan, WellCare, Healthy Blue, NC Health Choice, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, MedCost, and Meritain. We are also providers for the Raleigh Children’s Developmental Services Agencies (CDSA). Our goal is to make quality children’s speech pathology services accessible to families in Wake Forest and Raleigh. Therapy session claims are submitted to your insurance the week following your visit and allowed one month to process, troubleshoot, refile, etc. Invoices are emailed on a monthly basis. For example, an invoice for January sessions would be emailed out on March 1 and be due on March 20. Most private insurance companies conduct random audits of therapy sessions and this may delay claim processing. Therapists are NOT permitted to accept payments. Please make your payment via the email invoice (Square) or mail your payments to our office: 616 Dr. Calvin Jones Hwy., #212, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
This will be determined on an individual basis. If you are participating in the Infant-Toddler Program, your treatment sessions will be conducted at home, daycare, or preschool (not the office).
We try to accommodate all of our busy families by offering flexible hours by appointment. Our typical days and times of appointments include Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Speech Therapy Solutions is committed to providing compassionate and expert children’s speech pathology services in Wake Forest, Raleigh, and Garner. To make payment convenient for our clients, we accept a variety of insurance plans, including Medicaid, NC Health Choice, Carolina Complete, Healthy Blue, United Healthcare’s Community Plan, Wellcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, State Employees Health Plan, Cigna, MedCost, Aetna, Tricare/Humana, Meritain, Alliance Health, Trillium Health, and Vaya Health. We are in-network with United Healthcare’s COMMERCIAL Plan. We are also in the process of becoming providers for other private insurance companies.
